Folder Hierarchy Management
Upon entering the manager, you will see a list of available folders in the root directory.
You can create a new folder using the "+" button in the top right corner.
When adding a folder, the system will prompt you to enter a name and select at least one associated product direction. Users will only see materials located in folders linked to their assigned product directions.
A new folder is always created within the folder that is currently open at the time the add button is clicked.
The current folder is always shown above the list, along with all higher-level folders.
Features:
-
When creating a new folder, the child folder inherits all product directions from the parent folder.
-
When a product direction is removed from a parent folder, it is automatically removed from all child folders.
-
If you attempt to add a product direction that is not present in the parent folder, it will be automatically added to the entire parent folder branch.
It is recommended to create at least one folder for each product direction.
Archiving
Folders or presentations can be archived using the archive button after selecting the item.
When archiving a folder, a warning will appear indicating that the action will affect the entire contents of the folder.
Archiving a folder includes:
-
archiving all presentations in that folder
-
archiving all child folders
-
archiving all presentations in all child folders
Folder Editing
The interface is identical to the folder creation interface.
Unarchiving
Unarchiving is done using the same button as archiving.
After unarchiving:
-
the file’s link to the folder is reactivated
-
if the file was archived, the archive status is removed
-
the archive status is also removed from all parent folders of the current folder
Displaying Folder and File Data
Data is displayed in a table format — both folders and files located in the current folder are shown simultaneously.
Table columns:
-
Folder or file name: for files, the name given during upload is shown, followed by the original file name and extension
-
File extension / folder label
-
Size (MB)
-
Last modified by — date and time, and the email of the last employee who made changes
Navigation Between Folders
Navigation is implemented through the full path display to the current folder.
Each path element is clickable.
File Operations
Adding / Editing
You can add a presentation to a folder using the "+" button and selecting “Add file” from the dropdown list.
Clicking it will open a window prompting you to drag and drop a file into the upload area.
The system performs an automatic check to prevent the upload of duplicate files.
Maximum file size: 500 MB
To edit a file, click the corresponding button on the file. A file editing window will open.
In this window, you can:
-
change the presentation name
-
upload an updated file
-
add a copy of the file to another folder
File Archiving / Unarchiving
This process is fully identical to folder archiving and unarchiving.
Exporting a File from the System
This is done using the download button on the selected file.
After clicking, the system will prompt you to save the file according to your device’s settings.
All Files
The All Files section allows you to view all uploaded presentations, regardless of their folder location.
This section also includes filters for selecting files of specific formats.
PDF File Compression
When uploading PDF files, the system will offer to compress them.
You can select the compression level or decline — this helps adapt the file to the technical capabilities of users' devices.
