To start working with email campaigns, you need to create an email address to send mailings from. This address must match your company’s domain.
To ensure the security and effectiveness of your mailings, you must properly configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
Important:
These settings are mandatory because they allow mailings to be sent only using your own domain, improving deliverability and protecting against spam.
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): adds a signature to your emails, confirming that the message content was not changed during delivery. This increases recipients’ trust in your messages.
Example public key record for the domain example.com:
mail._domainkey.example.com. IN CNAME mail._domainkey.mcm.proximaresearch.com.
SPF (Sender Policy Framework): prevents spoofing of sender identity when sending email. It defines which servers are allowed to send emails on behalf of your domain.
Add include:proximaresearch.com to your domain’s existing SPF record. This confirms that emails sent through our service will be recognized as sent from your domain.
Example record:
domain.com. IN TXT "v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:proximaresearch.com ip4:193.150.97.68 ~all"
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) uses SPF and DKIM to determine how to handle emails that fail authentication checks. This helps protect your domain from abuse and phishing.
