Pharmaceutical companies use tracking to monitor a tablet's location. This is needed to track the quality of a medical representative’s work.
The tracker records the tablet’s coordinates every N minutes.
Based on the received coordinates, the system builds the medical representative’s travel route.
To view a built route:
Go to the Routes section of the system.
Select the employee (medical representative) whose route you want to view.
Select the date for which you want to view the route.
Note:
In addition to the date, you can select a time range. For example, February 2 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Click Show on map.
The system will build the medical representative’s route for the selected time period.
Note:
You can display the following routes on the map:
Routes — the route the medical representative followed during the day
Actual calls — the map will show the points where the medical representative was supposed to make a specific visit
Planned calls — the planned route for the medical representative
Clicking the icon will display an explanation of the markers used on the map.
To enable display of a specific route, turn on the toggle switch.
Note:
The system allows you to view a route point separately. To do this, expand the list and select the point you want to view.
If you need to review visit activity in more detail, click Calls. The system will display a list of facilities visited by the medical representative.
The following information will be shown:
Planned visit time and actual visit time
Facility name
Facility address
