Accepting the invitation (user)

To accept the invitation, the user must:

  1. Open the email from Microsoft.

  2. Click Accept Invitation.

Important:
If the invitation is not accepted, when clicking On-demand data refresh access the following message will appear:

After the invitation is accepted, the user can:

  1. Open the CRM Analytics Basic dashboard.

  2. In the top-right corner, click Open Power BI Service with Updated Report.

Important:
After this:

  • A refresh of the CRM Analytics_v semantic model is triggered (the CRM calls the Power BI Service API).

  • The user is automatically redirected to https://app.powerbi.com/home?experience=power-bi.

  • In the From External Orgs section, the CRM Analytics_v semantic model and report will be available.

  • The semantic model refresh takes 1–15 minutes.
