The Promotions Dynamics chart displays monthly changes in planned and completed promotional activities for the selected reporting period. It helps users compare the promotion plan with the actual number of completed promotions and evaluate how promotional execution changes over time.
The chart uses two column values for each month:
- Promo Plan — the planned number of promotional activities.
- Promo Fact — the actual number of completed promotional activities.
The upper part of the chart shows ΔPL%, which indicates the percentage difference between completed promotions and the promotion plan. Positive values show that completed promotions exceeded the plan, while negative values show that completed promotions were below the plan.
To display detailed metrics for a selected month, hover your mouse cursor over the corresponding column. The tooltip displays the following values:
- Promo Fact — the actual number of completed promotions in the selected month.
- Promo Plan — the planned number of promotions for the selected month.
- ΔPY — the difference between the current value and the value from the previous year or comparison period.
- ΔPL% — the percentage difference between actual completed promotions and the plan.
