Concurrent agreements allow you to hold several active subscriptions to the same Proxima product on one AWS account at the same time. Each subscription is a separate contract with its own terms, its own billing, and its own Proxima environment.
Previously, one AWS account could have only one active subscription to a product. To purchase a second one — for another country or another team — you had to create a separate AWS account and go through registration again. Now everything is managed from a single account.
When you may need it
- International companies and holdings. One administrator can manage subscriptions for several countries, legal entities, or business units, while each of them keeps its own environment, its own users, and its own data.
- Different teams or products. Separate contracts can be set up for separate teams, with different terms and different numbers of users.
- A test environment. You can purchase a Sandbox as a separate subscription and use it for internal testing, training, or trying out new settings, while your production environment keeps running as usual.
What changes for you
| Question | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| How many subscriptions can one AWS account have? | One active subscription per product | Several active subscriptions at the same time |
| How do you purchase another subscription? | A separate AWS account was required | Through a private offer, on the same account |
| How are subscriptions billed? | One invoice per account | Each contract is billed separately |
| What happens to your current subscription? | — | It keeps working, and no action is needed on your side |
How to purchase an additional subscription
- Contact your Proxima manager and tell them what you need: the country, the team, or the type of environment, and the number of users. The manager prepares a private offer for you in AWS Marketplace.
- Open the offer link from the invitation email and sign in with the same AWS account that you already use for Proxima. Creating a new account is not required.
- Check the offer details and click Subscribe. For the full procedure, see AWS Private Offer Accepting (Good Flow).
- Complete the registration for the new subscription. Enter the business email address of the administrator — it can be the same one you used for your existing subscription. The domain name is generated automatically from this address, for example bayer.pharmahrm.com, so change the first part of it to a name that identifies the new environment, such as bayer-kz.pharmahrm.com, and confirm it.
- After activation, the new subscription appears in AWS Marketplace next to your existing ones, and the new Proxima environment becomes available at its own address.
⚠️ Important: Each subscription must have its own domain name, because the domain name identifies the environment. Since the domain is generated from the email address, it will repeat the one you already use, so remember to edit it during registration. The email address itself can be the same for all your subscriptions, which allows one administrator to manage all of them.
How subscriptions work together
- Each subscription is an independent contract: it has its own start and end dates, its own terms, and its own number of users.
- Each subscription has its own Proxima environment. Users, settings, and data are not shared between environments.
- All subscriptions are visible on one AWS account, in AWS Marketplace → Manage subscriptions, and each one is billed separately.
- Ending one subscription does not affect the others.
ℹ️ Note: If you already use Proxima through AWS Marketplace, nothing changes for you. Your current subscription keeps working as before, and you can purchase an additional one whenever you need it.
