On-Demand Refresh for Power BI Reports lets authorized users refresh a Power BI semantic model directly from the CRM and immediately open the updated report in Power BI Cloud.

The feature includes:

• On-demand refresh of the dataset (semantic model) from the CRM

• Centralized access management via CRM Admin Tools

• Automatic user invitation to the tenant via Microsoft

Authorized users with Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) licenses can initiate a real-time refresh without any manual Azure configuration.

Important:
Before using the feature, make sure that:

• The user has a Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) license

• The CRM administrator has granted access to On-Demand Refresh

• The user MUST accept the Microsoft tenant invitation
  If the invitation is not accepted, the On-Demand Refresh feature will not work.
