The mobile and tablet applications keep a local copy of your data, so you can continue working without an internet connection. Synchronization sends the changes you made on the device to the server and downloads the latest data from your colleagues and administrator.

Data is exchanged in two ways: automatically in the background, and manually, when you start the process yourself.

Start synchronization manually

The synchronization widget is located on the Home page.

The widget contains the following elements:

• Sync now — starts the data exchange immediately. The application sends your changes to the server and downloads the updates prepared for you. The button is always available, regardless of the synchronization mode set by your administrator.
• Data update is available — this message appears when new data is waiting for you on the server. Click Sync now to download it.
• Last manual sync — the date and time you last started synchronization yourself.
• Last background sync — the date and time of the last automatic exchange.

Check the synchronization status

In the side menu, click Synchronization. The Data synchronization screen opens.

The top of the screen shows the current state:

• Status — Up to date when all changes have been sent and received.
• Last sync — the date and time of the latest successful exchange.
• Type — Auto or Manual, depending on how the last exchange was started.

Below, the history lists every synchronization with its date, time, number of updated rows, and result. Use it to confirm that your data reached the server, or to give the support team the details of an error.

Change the synchronization settings

1. Open Synchronization.
2. At the top of the screen, click the ••• button and select Settings.
3. Change the settings you need.
4. Click Save.

The General details panel contains the following settings:

• Sync over cellular — when the toggle is on, automatic synchronization runs over both Wi-Fi and mobile networks. When it is off, automatic synchronization runs over Wi-Fi only. Enabled by default.
• Sync mode — shows how the application exchanges data: Auto — in the background, at the selected frequency; Manual — only when you click Sync now. The mode is set by your administrator and is normally Auto. You cannot change it, but you can start synchronization manually at any time, in either mode.

• Sync frequency — select how often automatic synchronization runs: 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, or 4 h. The setting is unavailable when Sync mode is set to Manual. 4 h by default.
• Successful sync notifications — when the toggle is on, the application displays a message after each successful synchronization. Disabled by default.
• Sync errors notifications — when the toggle is on, the application displays a message when synchronization fails. Enabled by default.

Two buttons are available at the bottom of the panel:

• Save — applies the new settings. They take effect immediately.
• Revert — discards your changes and returns the previous values.

Both buttons stay inactive until you change at least one setting.

How automatic synchronization works

Automatic synchronization runs only while the application is open. If you minimize or close it, the exchange stops and resumes the next time you open the application. Your changes stay in the queue and are not lost.

The exchange runs in the background: you can keep working with institution and client cards while data is being transferred.

Working without an internet connection

Everything you create or edit offline is stored on the device and placed in the synchronization queue. The changes are sent as soon as a connection becomes available.

If the connection drops during synchronization, the exchange continues from the point where it stopped — the data that has already been transferred is not sent again.
