Step 3 – Defining the Actions That Must Be Performed After the Check
After building the conditions for scenario execution (Step 2), you need to define the actions that must be performed if the scenario is completed successfully.
Actions that can be performed after scenario execution:
The “Change order property” action is used, for example, when a 5% discount needs to be applied when ordering a specific product in a quantity of 50 packages.
To build this action:
Click the “Action” button and select “Change order property” from the drop-down list.
Enter the percentage that must be applied to the order.
Action “Change product in order”
The “Change product in order” action is used, for example, when the order contains a product for which the corresponding discount must be applied.
To build this action:
Click the “Action” button and select “Change product in order” from the drop-down list.
Select the product for which the discount must be applied.
Click the “Property” button and select “Discount” from the drop-down list.
Enter the corresponding discount that must be applied to the product.
Action “Add product to order”
The “Add product to order” action is used, for example, when another product must be added to the order when a specific product is ordered in a defined quantity.
To build this action:
Click the “Action” button and select “Add product to order” from the drop-down list.
Select the product that must be added to the order.
Add the price of this product. If this product is added as a gift, enter a price equal to 1.
Add the quantity of the product provided as a gift with the order.
Enter the activation cost of the promotional product, meaning the product provided as a gift if the scenario conditions are met.
Note:
The activation cost is the amount that must be allocated to promote this promotion.
If a certain number of product packages is added to the order as a gift, the amount to be allocated for promotion in the “Activation cost” field is the price of one product package multiplied by the number of packages provided as a gift.
Important:
If, for example, a discount is provided when a specific quantity of a product is ordered, the activation cost of this promotion is calculated as follows:
Select the parameter () from the drop-down list, and then select the “Quantity” parameter, meaning the quantity of the product in the order.
Select the “Multiply” action.
Next, select the “Price” parameter.
The second condition is to select the “Discount %” parameter, select the division operator, and enter the constant value 100.
