The Filters tab lets administrators prepare filters centrally and decide who can use them. Users then apply a ready-made filter in one click instead of building the same selection by hand every time.
The filter list
Each row shows:
- Name — the text users see. It can contain a variable, for example
#value#, which is replaced with the value the filter is currently set to. - Object — the data the filter applies to, for example HCP.
- Type — how the filter looks to the user: Multi select for choosing several values from a list, Toggle for a simple on/off condition.
- Pinned — whether the filter is shown immediately or hidden behind the additional filters button.
- Visibility — Public for everyone, or Restricted access for selected profiles.
- Modified — when the filter was last changed and by whom.
Use the field under a column header to filter the list itself.
Add or edit a filter
Click Add, or click a row to edit an existing filter. The form has two steps.
Step 1. General
Set the filter properties: the Name, the Object it applies to, and the Type. Click Next to continue.
Step 2. Visibility
Decide who sees the filter and how prominently.
- Visibility — Public makes the filter available to everyone. Restricted access limits it to the profiles you list below.
- Pinned — when the toggle is on, the filter is shown in the filter panel straight away.
- Visible to — the conditions that decide who gets the filter. Build a condition from three parts, for example Profile — Equal — Role user Fill. Click Add for another condition, or Add group to combine conditions into a group. The minus icon removes a condition.
Click Save to apply the filter.
ℹ️ Note: The Visible to conditions are used only when Visibility is set to Restricted access. A public filter is available to everyone regardless of the conditions.
