  • Ask Copilot directly from your Power BI reports

A new Ask Copilot button is now available in the Power BI Report section. Clicking it takes users directly to Power BI Copilot for the exact report they're viewing - no need to search for the report manually in Power BI Cloud. This gives users a fast, self-service way to get AI-powered insights on their data.

  • Simplified Copilot access management

Granting access to Power BI Copilot no longer requires manual work in Microsoft Entra ID. Administrators can enable access with a single Copilot Access toggle in the user's profile - the system automatically handles the rest in the background.

The activation process correctly handles cases where the user already exists in the tenant, is already a member of the required security group, or already has the necessary settings configured. So re-enabling access never causes duplication or errors.

Administrators can also disable Copilot Access at any time.
